Our Ministries
At Camden, we understand ministry to be the service we offer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As those who have freely received His grace, we seek to joyfully and lovingly live as His ambassadors,
both in our church and in our community.
It is our desire to serve as Jesus served by lovingly speaking truth,
faithfully promoting righteousness, and humbly meeting needs.
We do all this because of our merciful Savior and for our gracious King.
Children's Ministries

Children make up most of the attendance
here at Camden.
We offer classes for children of all ages
during both the Sunday morning
and Wednesday night services.
Sunday School
There is a class for children of all ages. All the kids start together in a combined opening of singing, before splitting into age divided classes.

Nursery
Children make up a great majority of Camden's attendance. We provide a nursery for all regularly-scheduled services. All nursery and preschool staff are members of our church who have gone through a screening process that has been approved by our insurance company. Their love for children is clearly demonstrated in the care that the children receive.

Children's Church
Our Children's Church Program meets every Sunday morning during worship. It is geared for kids from Kindergarten to 3rd graders. Teachers and helpers are church members who rotate on a quarterly basis. These students sit with their parents in the auditorium during the song service and are dismissed to Children's Church during the final song.

Adventure Club
Designed for ages 3 years old through 6th grade. This is a unified curriculum, meaning all ages will be learning the same Biblical truths each week! Exposing God's Word to kids through the use of Bible memorization, prayer, songs, games and Bible lessons
Men's Ministries

In a world where masculinity seems to be under attack, we provide many resources to learn more about what scripture has to say regarding godly men.
From prayer breakfasts to intense discipleship,
our church seeks to build up and encourage men
to lead their families according to God's design
and principles.
Men's Breakfast
Every other Saturday, men of all ages are invited to gather at the church for a time of fellowship. Breakfast is cooked and served by some of the men, who are members of Camden. Time is spent fellowshipping, studying the Word and praying for each other.
Man Up! Conference
Once a year, men and boys of all ages trek out to Northfield, Ohio for a one-day conference. It is designed to encourage and inspire men in the fight for Biblical Manhood.
Sportsman Banquet
This is a church wide event where men from the church and community can show off their hunting skills. All hunters display a wide variety of game from squirrels to buffalo to snake.

Ladies Sunday School
On Sunday mornings, there is a ladies-only Sunday school class for women of all ages. It is generally taught by a woman, who is a member of the church. Together they study a certain book of the Bible or Devotional pre-approved by the church leadership.

Ladies Bible Study
Regularly, we offer a special Bible study just for the ladies. These studies usually meet on a weekday in the evening. For those who cannot attend an evening study, there are occasionally alternative groups meeting during the day. These Bible studies are taught by a lady, who is a member of the church. The study is generally through a book, written by a Christian author and pre-approved by church leadership.

Youth Ministries
The name of our Jr./Sr. High youth ministry is Ignite, inspired by Philippians 2:15-16a.
“That you may be blameless and innocent,
children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life.” (ESV)
The world in which our youth are growing is becoming more crooked
and more twisted with each day,
so we make it our ambition to focus our attention on the study
and application of God’s Word to real life.
In Ignite we seek…
-
To know God
-
To love life
-
To serve others
These aren’t just bullet points. They are the main thrust of each year’s curriculum.
So, for the average youth attending Camden over a 6 year period,
they will cycle through these themes twice before graduating.
Our weekly meetings occur during the school year on Wednesday evenings
from 6:45-8:15pm where we enjoy games, fellowship, food, and study.
We also enjoy other activities and events throughout the year.
